The internationally acclaimed Penghu Bay International Light Festival, which has received much praise over the years, underwent a transformation in 2022 under the management of the Penghu National Scenic Area Administration, Tourism Bureau, MOTC. Shifting its focus from light exhibitions to a musical performance format, the festival harnesses the allure of Penghu’s unique sea breeze. Taking place at the end of summer and the beginning of autumn, the festival embraces the theme of chasing the wind, integrating the distinctive seasonal winds of Penghu. It invites heavyweight musical acts and creates a romantic and captivating atmosphere in harmony with the surrounding lighting environment, presenting itself in a completely new form.

In 2023, the Penghu Music Festival will continue the wave of excitement, showcasing a lineup of Golden Melody Award-level performers. It will take place from August 19th (Saturday) to September 30th (Saturday) at the Penghu Guanyin Pavilion, making a grand appearance.
